Typical cost of total testing ranges from $1,400 to $3,500

Intake, history & assesment interview (1-2 hours)

Administration of test (1-6 hours)

Scoring, interpretation & writing report (2-6+ hours)

Comprehensive Mental Health Evaluations

Range based on the testing and diagnosis plan decided upon during your free phone consultation.

* Written report is $500 and is not covered by insurance and doesn't include co payment.

* $200 appointment down payment (will go towards the report/co-payment)

* Cancellation at least 48 hours before appointment (no charge)

Deposit & No Show Fees

A deposit of $200 is required to secure an evaluation appointment and will be collected when paperwork is started. If your portion of the cost is less, the deposit will be refunded to you once insurance claims are fully processed.A deposit of $60 is required to secure a counseling appointment We stay busy at EQ Counseling & Testing Assessment, so it’s important to our team and patients that you let us know as soon as possible when you won’t be able to make an appointment. We ask that patients give us at least 24 hours notice prior to your appointment time. This allows us to offer your scheduled treatment time to patients who may be waiting for an appointment. If you do fail to arrive for your scheduled appointment or cancel within 24 hours before your treatment time, we will keep your deposit.

Insurance Information

Why should I consider paying privately “Out of Pocket”?

Insurance companies collect mental health information and require a full mental health diagnosis in order to approve therapy services (that are covered under specific plans). Once this diagnosis is made through the insurance company, this information is on your permanent health care record. Limitations of service, such as denial of quality life insurance, specific occupations, or even health insurance in the future may occur. Many clients therefore choose to not involve their insurance companies. Lastly, Many insurance companies require a deductible to be met before they start paying for mental health coverage, so you may be paying out of pocket anyway.

By paying privately or out of pocket, your records are confidential and safe from the insurance company. We are able to assure private pay clients the highest degree of privacy, flexibility, and control of their mental health record allowed by Florida state law. At EQ Counseling & Testing LLC we collaborate with our clients to decide how often you should attend therapy, and you decide what you want to focus on. This allows you have the control, not the insurance company.
